So I finally got my new tablet in le post, and after about a day of doing absolutely useless things with it (like writing "Hello world" with 827 million billion different brushes) I decided to salvage this doodle that wasn't going very well by hand. I haven't learned much about the tablet really but I have learned that I hate covering paper in pencil, especially color pencil but either way it's ZOMG! so much easier with a tablet!!! It's just so boring doing it with pencil, when you've got things to delineate it's fun but just putting color on paper ... so much discipline *twitch*. I've also learned that hair > faces > ... .... > clothes > background (> feet! Ahhah I hate feet!). Annnnyway, this was just a quick thing (must ... not ... quibble for 8 paragraphs ... ) because I'm SO EXCITED I HAVE A TABLET YAYYYY!!!11one

Oh and this is Catelyn Stark with her daughters Sansa (hairbrush-compatible) and Arya (hairbrush-incompatible) in some made-up (but text-supported!) Kodak moment memory. Dedicated to ~Redcandle17 and the lovely man who shipped me my tablet YAYYYY!!!11one. Reference photo so referenced.

First of all, it looks beautiful :)

As for a title... How about: "You're a princess too" ? :D

Yup, even without the title I picked these three out for the correct characters. (: Good job.

And I think I did the same thing when I got my tablet. I didn't have enough time to try all the brushes out! It's great, and you're right, absolutely bang useful for coloring in large areas at once. Get familiar with your brush control settings; they'll be your lifesaver, like I mentioned before.

"Advanced critique Encouraged"... *shrugs* Catelyn's torso and legs look a little miniature compared to the rest of her body?

Thanks! Catelyn looks really weird, I agree, the pose was really hard for me and I hoped to cover it up with a lot of fabric folds I think it made it worse (go figure!). I think it shows in the face too. Now, if I had any discipline I would go and practice my ball-and-stick anatomy ...

Agree with ~alciha, also the background more blended an ethereal would reinforce the scene. Whatever, beautiful.

suggestion for a title "The social pressure"

Maybe a more hazy background would create some depth? Anyway, thank you!

Beautiful work, mate! Arya is my favourite in this piece: she looks very natural.
